It has a special meaning that reflects the family relationship and the leadership of María Asia Sierra, the founder of the studio. Our art direction was an exercise of synthesis: different elements and irregular photo framing keeping in mind that it was going to be a regencycore aesthetic inspiration, far from exact historical recreation. Aiming to contextualize the collection by means of classic pieces: cushions, velvets, carpets of flowers, marble, bouquets of flowers... while giving a fresh approach through the irregular framing of the photograph, the intentional use of blur or by showing the photoshoot studio. the new brand. The visual trick will rely on us perceiving that home environment without actually seeing it, that nighttime consumption moment without explicitly displaying it, and that young consumer without needing to see their face. The aim is to create a memorable brand code aligned with the visual identity and its brand typography. However, “Mazo” it is also a word used as an expression to convey "VERY," with exaggerated, big or grandiose connotations. Part of our brief was to handle the design of this christmas gift voucher and that it also included a free gift. So, we decided to create a special voucher that was in itself a gift. We turned the voucher into a beautiful poster and giving it content: 45 wishes and challenges to accomplish during the hole 2023 year. And the most important thing, to the first wish you are invited! And it becomes the basic concept of this 360º project and specifically of the art direction we were commissioned. Because to be a Merluzo in spanish means to be a silly, a foolish person. In this way being a Merluzo is an attitude, a fun philosophy of life. And it appeal to our target: young people without complexes, with great respect for the world and who spend a lot of time with their friends.
